Pluckley Ghost Walk is a Kent Ghost Tour, in the Haunted Village of Pluckley, Ashford. The Ghost Walk is in the beautiful County of Kent, The Garden of England. Pluckley Ghost Walk is a Paranormal Experience we hope you won't forget and not your average Ghost Walk

Tour times are normally 8pm to 9.30pm in Autumn/Winter 8.30pm to 10pm in Spring/Summer - But Tours run at various other times so please check our calendar in the BOOK NOW tab. YOU MUST ARRIVE IN TIME! Tours cannot be delayed

The walk begins at the Recreation Playground car park on Smarden Road, Pluckley, right next to the Black Horse Pub rear car park (same turning)

CAN I JUST TURN UP?

No sorry. ALL BOOKINGS must be made ONLINE before your walk

DO I NEED A TICKET?

No. You do not need a ticket, just a printout or proof of your online payment receipt and invoice - present it to your guide on the night

 

HOW MUCH IS IT?

CAN KIDS GO?

Yes if accompanied by an adult of 18 years or over but not suitable for very young kids, toddlers, babies. We can cater for parents with well behaved younger children on a bespoke tour if helpful but you remain responsible for them and must supervise them at all times

ARE THERE RULES?

Yes -  You must be quiet at all times, polite & respectful of your surroundings & the village. Loud, rude or disruptive guests will be asked to leave and no refunds offered. There is no eating or drinking allowed on the tour and strictly no alcohol. We respectfully request that guests do not arrive intoxicated

CAN WE DRINK ALCOHOL?

No. If you consume alcohol on any of our Walks, Experiences or Events our guides will ask you to leave. If you arrive drunk you will be politely asked to leave. Pluckley is home to a community, drunken behaviour & disruption is not tolerated

DO YOU CHECK TICKETS & NAMES?

Yes. Tickets are not transferable & we don't allow ticket touts to resell Pluckley Ghost Walk products or events. You will need to give the names of all the people in your party and their ages. ID may be required. We reserve the right to refuse any person participation in our Walks, Experiences & Events at our discretion. Our decision is final

WHAT IS THE PLUCKLEY PLEDGE?

We ask guests to take the 'Pluckley Pledge' respecting our wildlife and leaving no trace of your visit. This means a ZERO LITTER POLICY. Absolutely no litter is produced during our tours and we ask you to keep it this way. Also if you see litter, pick it up and bin it

CAN I SMOKE OR VAPE?

No this is strictly prohibited throughout all Walks, Tours & Events

 

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

No sorry, humans only (Guide Dogs are allowed)

 

HOW LONG IS IT?

The walk lasts 1.5 - 2 hours give or take. If you survive you finish back at the start point at the Recreation Playground car park

HOW DO I GET THERE?

By Car - Enter TN27 0QS on your SatNav - This will get you to the Recreation Playground Car Park area off Smarden Road, directly behind the Black Horse Pub Car Park. Make sure you meet your guide here

By Train - Pluckley Railway Station is 1.5 miles away on Station Road, Pluckley - *IT IS A SPOOKY THIRTY MINUTE WALK FROM HERE*

CAN I CANCEL?

No all bookings are non refundable - though at our discretion we may be able to accommodate you on another tour in the future where there is space

OOPS I FORGOT TO ATTEND CAN I RESCHEDULE?

If you miss your booking for any reason you won't get another one for free, you'll have to pay sorry. No Shows are charged at full price regardless

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD BRING?

Sensible shoes or ideally wellies and a torch. Warm clothes during the winter months are essential as Pluckley is dark and cold!

IM SCARED OF GHOSTS AND THE DARK, IS THAT A PROBLEM?

Erm - Yes it probably is so be brave!

IS PLUCKLEY REALLY HAUNTED?

We think it is, you'll have to make up your own mind

ARE THERE TOILETS ON THE WAY?

No. Make sure you've used the loo before you start and easy on the tea!

IS PLUCKLEY THE MOST HAUNTED VILLAGE IN ENGLAND?

It was deemed so in 1989 by the Guinness Book of Records, stories of its ghosts go back generations

ANYTHING ELSE?

Yes. Absolutely NO LITTERING. I know we've said this already but we leave no trace on our tours and if we see litter we pick it up.
